Kāpiti Coast Scenic Full Day Tour

Tour includes:

• Scenic drive from Wellington to Pukerua Bay where we glimpse the Kāpiti Coast for the first time.
• Drive up the Paekākāriki Hill for the best lookout over the Kāpiti Coast and the top of the South Island.
• Visit Camp Russell at Queen Elizabeth Park Paekākāriki – the home for the US Marine Corp during World War 2.
• Visit the world famous Southward Car Museum housing a collection of over 400 vehicles, as well as three aircraft. The Southward Car Museum is one of the largest private motor vehicle collections in the Southern Hemisphere.
• Stroll through the idyllic Ngā Manu Nature Reserve at Waikanae with a Ngā Manu Ranger to view a wide variety of native birds. You may be lucky enough to spot Kiwi’s in their nocturnal house and Tuatara. Kiwi and Tuatara sightings are not guaranteed.
• Take a scenic drive through the coastal suburbs of Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati Beach and Raumati South.
• Bottled New Zealand spring water, lunch and Afternoon tea at an iconic local cafe.
