At Kaewa Tours we are committed to delivering a safe and enjoyable experience leaving you with memories to last for a life time.

We want all our customers to know that your health and safety, and that of our staff, is always our highest priority.

To assist, please advise us at the time of booking if you have any condition that requires medical attention, medication or special treatment. We recommend that customers with any medical conditions ensure that they have their medications with them.

While we take the upmost care to ensure your safety, however, there are inherent risks in the nature of some of our tours and driving on the roads. To ensure our customers safety, all customers must follow the instructions of the Tour Guide at all times.

Seat belts must be worn at all times. Customers must not move around the vehicle while in motion and not distract the Driver/Tour Guide.

Risks may include bee stings (Anaphylaxis), slips & trips, falls, rock fall, vehicle collision and allergic reaction to food items.

Customers with known medical conditions e.g. Heart and Mobility issues must not attempt the 253 steps to the Cape Palliser lighthouse (Scenic South Wairarapa tour).

Any food allergies/medical conditions/specific requirements must be advised at time of booking. Your Tour Guide will also check prior to the commencement of the tour for any food allergies.

In the event of an Earthquake please drop to the ground, cover your head and hold on.

Prior to your tour commencing, your Tour Guide at pick up will provide you with a detailed Health and Safety briefing outlining the known hazards that you may encounter during your specific tour.

We will ensure you have a safe, enjoyable and delightful day out.

Standard Safety:

  • Kaewa Tours Limited makes every effort to ensure the safety of our customers and staff across the breadth of our business.
  • Our vehicles comply with Land Transport requirements for passenger vehicles with all vehicles undergoing a six monthly safety check through independent testing. All staff hold the appropriate Licences and passenger endorsements.
  • Throughout the company, health and safety of passengers and staff is taken very seriously. We have company policies for vehicle staff with ongoing training and awareness programmes as and when required.
  • Our vehicles are regularly serviced and offer optimal safety features.
  • We encourage and obtain feedback from customers and staff and seek to make changes where practicable.
  • We keep up to date on the latest safety regulations and advice to ensure we follow best practice.
  • All our tour vehicles are smoke free.
