- Scenic drive from Wellington up through the Hutt Valley to the Remutaka Hill summit, 555 metres above sea level.
- View the Remutaka Crossing monument commemorating 60,000 New Zealand troops who made the crossing from the Featherston Military Camp to the Port of Wellington in World War One (weather dependent).
- Experience the unique life of a Beekeeper at Greytown Honey.
- Visit a boutique, family owned winery where you will taste a wide range of wines from Martinborough’s famous Pinot Noir, Syrah, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc.
- Visit C’est Cheese in Featherston – the home of New Zealand’s best Brie (Remutaka Pass-Summit Snow’) to sample award winning locally produced artisan cheeses.
- Enjoy a beautiful platter lunch at a local Martinborough vineyard featuring local produce.
- Talk a walk through a local Olive Grove to understand what it takes to produce exceptional, award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oils (Olive Grove tour and tastings may not be available during harvest season mid May-mid June).
- Sample artisan, award winning chocolates at Schoc Chocolates Greytown.
- Sample local Wairarapa Gins or Pinot Noir Rose at the iconic White Swan Hotel Greytown.
- Take a stroll through Molewood Orchard Greytown and pick your own apples (when in season).
