Lovely hosts with an exceptional property and excellent value for money.
“Quiet and thoughtful. Lovely hosts. The guest rooms are upstairs, away from the rest of the family. Excellent shower and thoughtful touches like flowers and toiletries. Great selection of coffee and hot chocolate in bedroom to use. Excellent recycling and composting.”
“Exceptional. Jill and Tom were the most accommodating couple. Just makes the visit special. They have added little touches in the room and the bathroom which helps make it even more special.”
“Fantastic! I can’t recommend Quiet & Cosy highly enough. We had an awesome stay in a beautiful home. Our hosts Jill & Tom went above & beyond in looking after us and making sure we had a good stay. A big thank you to them both.”
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful house in peaceful setting, perfect place to relax. Enjoyed watching the Tuis having breakfast.
Truly the most friendly, welcoming, hospitable people. All the facilities were impeccable and the bed so comfortable.
“Excellent stopping point – lovely rooms and great value for money. We had a last minute addition with one of our children not being able to stay at her Grandma’s and our hosts were so accommodating. They were friendly and chatty and our rooms comfy, quiet and cosy – just as it says on the box. Would thoroughly recommend.”
The hosts were very lovely and helpful. The place is quiet and the house very nice with a beautiful garden for the barbecue. Thank you for the bikes and this lovely ride around the river.
No problem to make use of the kitchen to make our own breakfast. Would highly recommend Quiet and Cosy, very, very hospitable people.
Friendly knowledgeable hosts who gave us good restaurant recommendations etc, and made us feel at home, we had the up stairs bedrooms with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom, shared kitchen living area down stairs. Good value for money.
“Would definitely stay here again if I ever needed. Highly recommend. Was room only with tea coffee available. Great to have a balcony off the bedroom. Super clean, bed comfortable and bathroom more than adequate. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Was a beautiful home. Location was very suitable for what I needed.:
Everything was absolutely perfect! Beautiful house and the location is close to the beach surrounded by garden and flowers everywhere, nice view from the balcony of our room, very comfortable bed and bathroom. The kindness of the owners Jill and Tom is wonderful. If you are traveling in Waikanae don’t miss this place!
Mid winter – the rooms were warm and the sheets devine… so soft and warm. Lovely separate space with our own bathroom and so clean and homely. Hosts would be difficult to top – such a lovely pleasant couple.
Amazing, very accommodating hosts, very good value for money, very decent location, very comfortable.
“Quiet and Cosy Oasis. Jill and Tom’s lovely homestay was exactly as others have said in their reviews: quiet and cosy with hosts who were so welcoming. We loved the tui singing just outside our room in the mornings,(but it wasn’t too early) and, oh, the raspberry moccachino 😀”
Excellent location being close to the shopping centre in Waikanae and the train station. Warm, cosy bedroom and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Jill and Tom are friendly and welcoming as you are guests in their home. They live downstairs and the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, so the guests have their own facilities.
“Very relaxed private and peaceful. Loved the hosts very polite and helpful lovely home in a nice secluded spot great off street parking peaceful quiet and relaxed atmosphere thank you so much will be back again♥️”
Super comfortable quiet accommodation in a very tranquil setting which is ideal for exploring the area.
Awesome couple, beautiful home couldn’t ask for anything more.
“Quiet, Clean and Comfortable. Hosts were wonderful and the location was walkable to the shops in the town center. The amenities were new and the place spotless. Cannot find any faults. Wish I had stayed longer.”
“Great stay, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It was such a nice cosy stay, Tom and Jill were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. They went above and beyond to give us the best possible stay. Comfy beds and great little additions to the room like bathrobes, bottled water, chocolates etc. Highly recommended anyone to stay here.”
